How EUSEC Medals Are Awarded
EUSEC's medal methodology is built on transparency, consistency, and global benchmarking. Medals are awarded based on validated assessment scores and percentile rankings across all assessed companies.
Complete Assessment
Company completes the EUSEC Security Rating assessment covering all four security themes: Governance, Risk Management, Technical Security, and Supply Chain Security.
Score Validation
EUSEC analysts validate all responses and supporting documentation. Scores are calculated using the EUSEC methodology with theme-level and overall scores.
Global Benchmarking
Validated scores are benchmarked against the global pool of all assessed companies to determine percentile rankings for each medal tier.
Medal Awarded
Companies meeting the minimum score thresholds and percentile requirements receive their medal or badge. Digital badges are issued with unique verification codes.
Eligibility Requirements & Medal Rules
Minimum Theme Scores
To be eligible for any medal or badge, companies must achieve a minimum score of 30 in each of the four themes (Governance, Risk Management, Technical Security, Supply Chain Security). This ensures balanced performance across all security domains.
No theme score below 30 = No medal eligibility
